ABOUT | The St. Christopher Gewürztraminer is harvested in one of Germany's premier wine regions, the Rheinhessen. With all the exotic and floral aromas wine drinkers expect but never overwhelming in sweetness due to its balance of acidity. TASTING NOTES | Whiffs of apple, pear, and lemon suggest a shyer aromatic expression, but the palate of this off-dry wine is surprisingly sunny and bright. Fresh tangerine and nectarine flavors are accented by hints of caramel and bee pollen. The finish lingers on a delicately lacy sweetness. TECHNICAL NOTES | 100% Gewürztraminer harvested in the middle of September from 10-year-old vines. 10-day fermentation at 26 degrees Celsius in stainless steel tanks using select yeast.
